Attended the City Of Oshawa Economic Development Event. It was great to hear all the new updates that are coming to Oshawa in terms of employment, development and overall growth. Heard information from the Oshawa Mayor - Dan Carter, Regional Councillor - Tito-Dante Marimpietri and representatives from Durham Association of Realtors in Commercial and Residential Real Estate and finally representatives from BDC - Bank for Canadian Entrepreneurs. it all sounded like it is an incredible time to invest in Oshawa. Very interesting TRREB Annual meeting yesterday. Had a great opportunity to see many colleagues and hear some incredible speakers regarding the Ontario Housing Market. Premier of Ontario Doug Ford explained his new plans to bring homes to the market. CIBC Deputy Chief Economist Benjamin Tal spoke about the economy.
